Lucas Lamadrid began his career in higher education as an administrator rising through the ranks to president of a university in the South Bay. But throughout his time in higher education Lucas constructed, renovated, bought and sold multimillion dollar buildings. As a university leader he created a culture which made customer service the paramount value. Real Estate was always a part of his professional life. At the urging of his good friend and top real estate broker in the South Bay, Sandra Sanders, he decided to focus his efforts on real estate because it is a business that transforms lives—it is where people live, eat, sleep, relax, raise children, host friends, and nurture the most important relationships in their lives. Lucas’ conviction is that in the final analysis real estate is not about buildings but about people. He is relentless in finding the right home for a buyer or the right buyer for a seller. His dedication produces results for his clients.
Lucas holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, a Master’s from the University of Notre Dame, and a doctorate from Duke University. He has been married to Dr. Beth Kreitzer, a college professor, for twenty-five years. They have three children, Claire is a Junior at Stanford University; Grace, a senior at Peninsula High School; and Jack, an 8th grader at Ridgecrest Middle School.
